LEAD CREATIVE

Danilo is a Brazilian-born cinematographer and editor, currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from one of Latin America’s most prestigious schools, Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. His career in production started touring with musical artists and shooting concerts all over Brazil. Throughout the years, he has worked in several production companies and ad agencies, shooting and editing TV series, commercials, films, and branded content. He’s worked with brands such as General Motors, Dr. Pepper, Food Network, GE and MTV Brazil. Some of his favorite works with Kinetic include spots for Broadway HD and Children’s Aid.
He was awarded the 2013 AbelCine Documentary Grant in New York, for the feature-length documentary he is directing, “Black Booth”.  The documentary is supported by the Film Society of Lincoln Center, Museum of Moving Image, Film Forum, among other prestigious institutions in New York.
In his spare time, Danilo enjoys basketball and analog photography.
